Aiming high on the high street
Two partners with a passion wanted a lifestyle change and decided to launch a high street delicatessen and café. Aimed at health-conscious foodies they chose the name Girasole to become purveyors of preservative-free fine Italian food. So once they had an idea and a name but how could they bring it to life?
Adding a touch of Tuscany
We were commissioned to create the branding for their fledgling business and represented their values through a rustic, wholesome identity with a warm touch of Tuscany, which is where one of the partner’s originates. The girasole (sunflower) was drawn in a mosaic style and because of its relative simplicity, lends itself to inexpensive printed applications such as aprons, crockery, serviettes, packaging and signage.
Turning a community favourite into a local hero
On Teddington High Street, Girasole has gone from strength to strength. Today you often have to fight your way in on a Saturday once the goodies start coming out of the oven.
